I have the LP that has Michael singing Cherokee Fiddle. He was indeed the writer of the song. What a rendition of the song on that is on the LP. Listening to the words of Cherokee Fiddle along with the music on that record bring goosebumps to me. Awesome song.

@mollieluna my eyes are like his. i couldnt get away with crime if i chose that route. but the eyes on him along with his talent as a songwriter, will assure him immortality in teh country music world. and probably into other genres as well

I've seen Murph many times, His live shows are never the same twice...
but they are always good. I've heard him do this song better, but I won't say this is his worse... It's just Murph....... playin' to the people.

This more like the way Cherokee Fiddle was first recorded. After the Johnny Lee version, he recorded a faster version. I like this way best!

This is the man who WROTE the song. And who has the bluest eyes I've ever seen. Johnny Lee made him a lot of money!
