I'm from NI and I think the main thing with our accent is that we speak incredibly quickly and certainly Damian does, but other than that I cant understand why people have a problem with it. His teacher in this clip speaks beautifully!

I can understand every word he says. Sometimes people are just lazy listeners.

@truvei Yeah, but when he turns on his accent full force it's kinda hard to understand him. Like, a couple scenes on the Glee Project they subtitled him.

I Love Damian he is so adorable and a great singer. He said he learned so much at this college, so I wonder why it was so hard for him to be good as an actor and dancer on The Glee Project? Also I would think performing with Celtic Thunder for 4 years would have made it easier for him on GP, but he seemed to struggle for along time, until the end. I guess it doesn't matter in the end he still WON the GP so it turned out GREAT, I can't wait to see him on Glee.
