Ugh. Good question, I was looking for a username that would reflect some content about therapy so found Derek Therapist (in my mind). I had not realised that when there is no space it can read as Derek The Rapist until it was too late.

Very insightful. The counselor that I've been seeing for the past 5 months has been using this on me and I can't put into words just how much it helped me. I have a very long way to go, but I'm glad that I am in safe hands. The whole idea that I have "parts" use to worry me that I was going nuts, but I can see now why I have so many. 33 years of hell does that to ya. Thanks for your video.

I've worked for over 10 years with Hal and Sidra Stones books (thank goodness for bibliotherapy) which demonstrate how to work with what they call subpersonalities, or energy patterns or inner selves.
