You got a lot of fret buzzing going on. Maybe your neck and/or saddle needs adjusting, or possibly even your frets need filing.

I looked at another video of a do-it yourself bass guitar kit and noticed that the end of the neck can be cut to shape like the end of a Fender neck. My guess is that is why it is like that.

I used (in addition to those springs that are around screws) soft rubber at the bottom of the pickup. It keeps the pickup firmly in place.

Like springs? There are usuallly springs under pickups.

Just use the plastic cover thingy (pick cover or what it is called?) and 1-2 string to find the place for the pickups, and use a hammer, gently, to make a start for the screws and that's it. Remeber to place something soft (rubber?) under the pickups so it's possible to adjust the height.

No holes for the screws.
I do not like the end of the neck.
