While it was very nice to have the pretty lady doing the program in English, since it was MEANT for an English speaking audience, wouldn't it be a bit more affective to use a reporter who speaks with an English or an American accent? And she doesn't have to be "a native speaker." It's just that some of the idioms, verb tenses, verb-noun agreements, and colloquialisms deployed here were a bit off or awkward. Surely, there are some fluent English speaking, news persons in Vientiane, Laos...
