Please Note: I was under the impression this song was Johnny Rivers, I have been corrected that it is not Johnny Rivers, and I agree that it does not sound like him.I think it is a good song, so I am leaving it up.

I was under the impression this song was by Johnny Rivers when I uploaded it, but after being advised by some other youtubers that it is not him, I stand corrected. Sorry,I don,t know who it is, it came from a 45 record that I no longer have in my possession.

P.S.

I should mention, at the start of the video slide show there is a shot of the 45 record this came from, it says Johnny Ramistella and orchestra, Can't tell you any more than that.

I would like to hear more by this singer myself, if you find out anything about him please let me know.

I'm a fascinated by this Johnny Rivers debate. So I did a research including Johnny Rivers own website which states John Henry Ramistella was born November 7, 1942, in New York City. The Ramistella's moved to Baton Rouge. By junior high, Johnny formed his own band The Spades in 1956 Rivers says. "We became the hot little band around Baton Rouge." His first recording, "Hey Little Girl," was released by the Suede label and sold well. For me the debate is over. This is Johnny Rivers

As far as I know is this another version that Paul Parker is singing. I heard it before and the guy who put it on tape for me told me so.

absolutely Johnny Ramistelli the singer whose records are displayed on this portion of the website is in Fact JOHNNY RIVERS! He started singing and playing the guitar when he was 14. He was originally from New York and New Jersey but moved to Louisiana. Allan Freed, a legendary DJ, advised him to change his name to Johnny Rivers. In the early to mid 60's he had 4 million selling records including "Secret Agent Man and Poor side or town" along with 5 other Top 10 Hits.
