Anuna is possibly one of the best vocal groups I've ever heard. Their version of Siúil a Rúin is absolutely flawless, and I wanted to show my interpretation of this beautiful song ^_^

I know I got sloppy at the very end, but that last note [being an 'm' consonant] is very hard to hold out. Cut me some slack :]

  • Better than the girl who sits next to me in chorus and complains each time we get a song in a foreign language.

I understand it's not my tongue, and it's a very hard language... but at least I tried, and I don't appreciate you acting so pompous as to say that just because I was raised speaking English, I don't even deserve to attempt one song in a foreign language.

  • @weegiraffe22 hell yes. she fails!

  • @xaldinsbaby1 Sorry that I'm American and Gaelic isn't my native tongue, not to mention how terribly sorry I am that it's one of the hardest languages out there to pronounce... God forbid I try.

  • good going girl....keep the practice, you have great potential with a little coaching, my hat's off to thee , Lass...........*

  • hey, im not trying to be mean ir anything but i think your voice would be more fitting with the celtic woman version of the song... you have a wonderful voice... but you also need to learn to open your mouth more... like your yawning wile your singing it also helps you cary note really well...

  • Yes, but in the version I was covering, the "m" was held out, as in a hum.

I've gotten much better at doing this type of thing (it's been 2 years - crazy), but I'm always trying to improve nonetheless.

  • There are not many who can do it like you...

Thank you for this beautiful singing!
