I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder just before I spent 1 1/2 months in Laurel Ridge. Blue October and Justin have been so incredibly much of an inspiration to me and to find this out today just put me in awe. I was so incredibly shocked to know that he si from houston, like me, and went to the same psych ward that I lost my sanity in. He just describes this disability that is so hard to describe so well I just I fall into this hole and his poetry guides me out. I can't explain it its amazing.

this isn't a competition to see who has had the worst things happen to them in their life. This makes him better, writing songs, wouldn't you do anything you could to make yourself feel better?
