Bergeron Squares seems to be popular among my viewers... so why not give them another one?

Anyway, here's a very special episode at that. It's filmed in New York City, and returning champion Tarek returns for his third game, having already won quite a bit of money from two days alone; playing against newcomer Janine. How will he fare today?

Celebrity guests: Kathie Lee Gifford, Meredith Viera, Al Roker, Richard Belzer, Tony & Vincent, Caroline Rhea, Gilbert Gottfried, Bruce Vilanch, and of course, Whoopi Goldberg.

In addition to a 3-D HS logo, both on screen and on the stage floor, the contestant and host areas were updated with darker wood trim and Tom's podium now has metal-looking pillars to fill in the gaps between the contestant podiums. Later this season, but definitely by fall 2001, a new version of "I Love Hollywood" debuted, along with a "teaser" question by one of the celebrities.

I loved how they have the NYC skyscraper background on the sides of the big Tic-Tac-Toe board, much like the Davidson did when that version was taping their shows in NY!

Davidson HS also went to Paradise Island in Fall 1988. The Vegas run in 1980-81 was permanent until cancelled. This champion was a five time winner and won every tic tac toe game played in his five shows.
