@whothehellgivesadamn yeah i think all this raw food movement across the web and society in general is really helping to force the gov. to some kind changes but we need to be much stronger in that direction! Grrr....

@redwood575 yeah! After all the studies on microwaves dangers in all directions I wonder how some people in the gov. got the nerves to advise usage of it.. I would not mind to know the name of the author and find his/her ties!

Did some industries forget to pay their bribes? Or did the USDA start to actually read the medical studies to do recommendations? Whatever, it contains some surprising new advice.

Love this video. I always look at the person giving the advice and John looks healthy and balanced. Great advice! I also appreciate that he mentioned that microwaves are a bad idea...do yourself a favor, bring it to the curb. :)

hey john whats ur thoughts on fermented foods, such as fermented milk kefir?

The main reason in my opinion that fermented foods are so good is the beneficial bacteria. I do consume some fermented foods a few times a week as well as take probiotics. I would prefer coconut kefir, and would prefer it over milk kefir. Although milk kefir is "easier" to digest than milk, it still contains foreign proteins that based on my research are good for cows, but not humans. Now if it were Human Milk Kefir.. Sign me up.

how about drinking a lot water before and/or after eating dried fruits instead of eating soaked dried fruits?

That would be better than eating dried fruits without water. That being said, another problem with dried fruits is that they stick to your teeth, which could cause other issues. When soaked in water, they aren't quite as sticky.. but I still advise to have proper oral hygine.
