Listen everyone, im not the type to believe in those conspiracy theories but I honestly believe that Larry Merchant was instituted in to boxing to make sure never again shall another boxer or black fighter become bigger than boxing. Ali had so much control and influence that he made thousands not supportive of the war in Vietnam. Ali could have commanded an army in the US and around the world. Think about it.
