there is no profit in mistreating or improperly keeping these animals. the consumer market sets the price the grower can get. each bird lost due to bad care is a profit loss to the farmer. they don't breed these birds to dance ,they are bred as food only.crippled birds are the nature of the breed, not the care received ,crowding is a way to increase the number of birds that reach the market ,some loss is to be expected.as long as the consumer insists on a low price per pound . so,eat mor chkin
