This is a slideshow that I created for my Mom's 70th birthday (Dec. 17th, 2009). My sister Doreen stealthily slipped into my Mom's apartment when she wasn't home in order to 'borrow' her photo albums. She then scanned the photos and sent them to me. Doreen also chose the songs that played in the background, as she thought I might want to 'Bobify' the video by using Simpsons music instead. D'oh!
The video was played at my Mom's surprise birthday party at Goodfellas, a restaurant in Clifton, NJ, on Dec. 19th, during a snowstorm that promised to dump a foot of snow by morning. My Mom was completely surprised by the party. The slideshow was a big hit, many family members and friends attended, and a good time was had by all.

Thank you mysite! Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I only just saw your messages. I used Pinnacle Studio to create the slideshow. It's a fairly easy program to use - the transitions were already pre-made and only needed to be dragged & dropped between each set of photos. I unveiled the slideshow at the restaurant where we took our Mom for what was a successful surprise birthday party. We had lots of family and friends attend, even though we had a major snowstorm. My Mom loved it.
