Just looking at the gameplay makes me want to play this. I love the DQ series. They're such a good line up. I prefer the DQ series over the Final Fantasy series.
The DQ games have this sort of style. It has some sort of traditional Japanese charm/touch. I think it's due to Akira Toriyama's artwork.
EnglishTurtle!!!! YOU are soooo right!!! The DQ series is waaay better than final fantasy it just has an awesome beutiul style to it and that sort of retro RPG gaming feel no matter how new it is thats why i love it!!! IMO best series eva!!!
dude this is freakin awesome when Dragon Quest V and VI come out for DS i am buying both of them. cause i already own IV and no i am not japanese if you were wondering and koichi sugiyama and nobou uematsu are both heroes to me!
I have bought Dragon Quest 5 on the DS And its fathful to the SNES version but improves on it. I love both versions equally and cant wait to see how they will do part 6 as the dual worlds made it very much a trip in part 6. Not a bad thing of course.
Yeah, Japan is well known for excellent composers, since the videogames started to be regarded as art. Koichi Sugiyama, Motoi Sakuraba, Nobuo Uematsu, those are all great composers, (and my favorites)
