Yes Blackra1n has always been like this ,,, if u turn off your iphone 3gs it will need to be retored with itunes ,,, i had the same problem before my 3gs with my ipod touch 3rd gen ,,, i suggest using redsn0w, pwnage tool, or spirit .

im with u im not jailbreaking in till they fix this crap i was so pissed when i fig out it was like this i just think apple are a bunch of fools for making the os the way it is with the google phones and the htc phones witch dont have to be jailbroken to be cool ass phones i just think there fools thanks for the vid though
