Finally IC cards for public transport in Japan are catching on. After spending some time in Hong Kong I can't wait until the Japanese equivalents are as useful and widespread as the Octopus card. In this ad Nakama Yukie(仲間由紀恵) is telling everyone that the JR Icoca card (used in the Kansai Area) can also be used in Tokyo (where they use the Suica system). Just this month, Osaka started using the pitapa system. Yay for competing standards... :roll:
