  • That's some badass "fabric". Looks like it could hold up well. I once worked on a kilt that used heavy cotton (similar to jean material but solid dark color) and it was a royal pain to work with. I bet working with such a large "piece" takes time to get used to. Overall it looks like top quality and now I know where to go if I purchase a Yurt (instead of building my own like I've been planning). Great video. Be proud.

  • A knife for Duralast? Don't be so "logical", think of a rock for the glasswindows of you home, or think worse if you want.

Don't dirt the magnificent idea of a Yurt.

    Bravo! for the video creator!

  • Fascinating to watch such great workmanship in progress.. But I guess if a burglar wanted to rob my yurt, all he would need was a good knife? Or do criminals not exist in yurtdom?

  • Those seams would be completely water tight if they welded them vian hot air or dialectrically

  • gortex is probably a bit better material but cool video.

  • watching your fingers so close to the machine makes my heart skip a beat. wow!

  • I did not realise these were mostly hand made.
