Marya Sea Kaminski is a performer, writer, and director based in Seattle. She is one of the founding members of the Washington Ensemble Theater. Her acting credits include Laura's Bush, Next Tuesday and Crave at WET, Simone Alone at La Mama ETC in New York City, The Cherry Orchard at Annenberg Center in Philadelphia, and The Time of Your Life at the Seattle Repertory Theatre. She has performed her original solo work at On the Boards in Seattle, PS 122 in New York, the Myrna Loy Center in Helena, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Marya Sea directed WET's regional premiere of Adam Rapp's Finer Noble Gases, and is directing the world premiere of Jordan Harrison's The Museum Play this season.
As a teaching artist, she has instructed at the University of Washington, Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences, Freehold Studios, Seattle Center Academy, Boeing, and Eastside Preparatory School. She holds a double BA in English and Theatre from the University of Pennsylvania and a MFA in Acting from the University of Washington. Marya is WET's Literary Manager.

She shines bright even from the computer screen. What a communicative face and voice. I'm born and raised East Coast, but this makes me want to get over to Seattle and check out the theatre world there. Exciting.
