I don't want Quebec to become a country. I just want that English-speaking people respect a little bit the French language. It's not so complicated.

Actually you don't really know the law here. You just know the law according th the Canadian constitution, not according to the Quebec constitution. The Quebec government voted a law called "Loi 101", which makes French as the ONLY official language of the WHOLE Quebec province. And I think I know my geography enough to say that Montreal is located INSIDE of the Quebec province.

@goldenchocolate Canada is english/french, but the city of Montreal is itself french above all. This law is just for administrativ things.
