Watch this crazy tandem run as the Team Orange WRX sneaks too far inside and slams his front end into some metal bars in the ground by this light post. He hits the car and sends it into a spin as he entered turn one leading a tandem run against NOB Taniguchi.

  • @reddot44 Look at just about any race series ever and all the cars will have wings. Hell, most open wheelers have a front *and* a rear wing. Do you really think that dedicated race cars would have wings if they were "useless"? Sure, they're basically useless at normal road speeds (and therefore useless on most road cars, I agree) but D1 cars like this do much more than normal road speeds and can therefore justify the use of wings for downforce.

  • @reddot44 A carbon fiber wing is not that heavy. At speed, and especially while cornering at speed, it acts as the complete opposite as a airplane wing: instead of creating lift, the air pressure created as air flows over the wing presses down. As for being a ricer, you must have confused me with someone else; aside from my '88 RX-7, which has a small stock wing that is just for looks, I don't own anything ricey, I own a truck I use for work and such

  • @nolefan27 Typical ricer comeback on wings. I believe wings add force on the rear wheels too, not by aerodynamics but because they way a god damn ton and put a lot of force on the rear. When did I tell anyone to chill out? You ricers are the dumbasses of the planet lol

  • Wings are useless on FF cars because they push the rear of the car down and remove grip from the drive wheels...but on a FR drift car the wing adds grip to the drive wheels when needed, especially when the side-G's are added to the equation. You should take your own advice and chill out a little

  • @reddot44 of course wings do something. If they didnt they wouldnt be on f1 cars! Have an answer to that? It adds grip!

  • @powellx234 You can't type in a civilized manner so anything you say is invalid, and no, you have a misguided version of ricer. Ricer is anything added to anything that adds no performance like those decals or wings(yes, wings are useless, get over it)

  • @reddot44 wtf are u on about?

do u know what riced out is?

its tryin to make cars like nissan micras fast or look fast, which we all know cant be done!

u dont know what your sayin, so shut your mouth!

  • Is there any car in Japan that isn't riced out?
