@Shakeitupyes I'm not spending $300 just so I can prove to some person that I don't even know that I built a laser that harnesses 2 Amps worth of current. I've seen henhelds hit 3Watts before. The A-140 diode is what you are looking for. These things will easily hold 2 Watts with proper heatsinking.

Why dont you just sandblast?
-
@Djakkennaia oh ok, then get one of those beam strength testers and test it, post the vid of it registering 2w
-
@Shakeitupyes Dude, I OWN a homemade 2W blue laser. The diode was extracted from an A-140 projector. That's twice the power that you are claiming.

@Shakeitupyes lol obviously you never saw an industrial cutting laser !!!

PHASER !!!!

Hay what r u doing with chuck norris flash light?
This is an industrial laser that's perfectly legal and non-lethal when used as intended by trained operators for specific applications. These include removing thick coatings and/or rust from steel. It can also be in historic restoration for cleaning natural stone to remove decades of soot without any chemicals or liquids. A video showing laser stone cleaning will be posted soon.
