My dad Chester Lodge, LtJG was in Oak Ridge separating uranium. After that, was on the USS Kenneth M Willett.

I went with my dad last year to meet Garth Brown, a gunner's mate of the USS Oklahoma. Garth survived the torpedoing of the Oklahoma, and again 2 years later survived the sinking of the USS Helena in the Solomon Islands. He's ~ 91 yrs old now, still alive (I just checked) at the Phoenix VA medical center nursing facility.

Most of these photographs have never been seen before this video was made. The quality is very good on these photos, most of the ones you see over and over again are all pixelized and very unclear to see. Its sad what the subject matter is, but it is all History. Tom Hough EN3 Spar wlb-403/1966. Thank you.
