anger is a form of passion so you're saying it is a crime of passion

I think it's pretty clear:
Me dressing skimpy = legal
You raping = illegal
Any questions?

why is nobody getting raped )':

The thing about most rapists being someone the victim knows is so true. I know someone who was raped and abused by both her brother and her uncle for years. They still aren't in prison because the police couldn't find enough evidence or some shit like that. She never once dressed provocatively but has been lead to believe by her family (especially her mother) that it's all her fault. It's sick.

@indigothecat ...like the men being exposed and showing off their beautiful bodies and wearing little clothing, and clothing that emphasized their bodies.

@indigothecat I once had some of my friends who were young adult women brose through a name-brand men's underwear catalogue, you might call the styles it provides as "minimalist" or "metro" and "stylish. These women also identified as Christians.
They thought, despite the male models being in extremely good shape and well-groomed, that the underwear was too girly, or "feminine" or that it was gross and looked wrong. Men's fashion is expected to desexualize them, and they didn't...

Expected forms of dress for the sexes play into this. Women are expected to dress in tight clothing, wear make-up, have certain hairstyles and hair colors, and to reveal varying amounts of skin depending on the situation.
Men experience this, too, and generally, men's clothing and appearance are heavily de-sexualized for the most part when compared to fashion and hairstyles deemed appropriate for women in the same situations. Even in swimwear and underwear. I'll provide an example.

The whole "blaming the victim" argument is just as insulting to men; by providing the bizarre assumption that all men are roaming the streets like fucking reavers looking to rape women showing more than an inch of skin.

@DesBlackmore It's not an ideology that I'm following you moron. It's facts, supported from decades of crime statistics and backed by every professional in the field. And you still have yet to explain how the sober women in burkhas get abducted and raped, often in the daytime. You have a gut reaction that you feel makes you right, and nothing else. Your "precautions" don't do fuck all for preventing rape. You're just another victim-blaming imbecile without a clue.
@Blip186 But that's jsut the point. It is not the womans fault. If you really want to dehumanize the rapist (as you do) that's something else entirely. But women want attention. Men want attention. Children want attention. No one wants to get raped. And we shouldn't give women ANY of the responsibility at all, because, let's face it, they dress well to impress the ones who don't want to rape them. If they get raped for this then it is as much our fault for liking hwo she dresses.
