the proper title of the track is "Shifted", not "Shifty"

The track "Shifted" is a different piece from "Shifty". It appears he took Shifty to the electronic world and added several synth layers shortly after releasing it into the percussion world.
So Percussion premiered this piece at Eastman in 2001 (before the release date of the 2002 EP with Shifted) when Desantis was completing his DMA in composition while also studying under John Beck. An original recording can be heard at Sibley Library.
