CHAPTER 40!! [another anniversaryy!]

SARAHS POV!:

Sitting in my room, laying on my bed and listening to my metro station cd, relaxation was finally breaking through, but not for long...

There was a sudden abruptive noise and I looked up and saw Nick, coming towards me. A Big smile spread across my face. "HEY NICK!" he sat down on my bed and started stroking my cheek, "Where hav you been?" He didn't answer, he didn't say a word. He just sat there stroking my cheek. Nick leaned in the give me a kiss, his breath reaked. I couldn't quite put a name on the smell, but it was not pleasant. But I sure didn't want to ruin the peace on the day he came back.

I kept trying to shake him a little, to see what his reaction was...but he wouldn't say a thing. After 10 minutes of talking to him and getting no responce...he fell to the floor. "NICK!!" I screamed. "NICK, NICK PLEASE WAKE UP NICK!" Kevin heard all the noise and ran inside the guest room. "What happened?" he questioned me. "Whats that stuff around his eyes? Why does he stink so bad?" I was afraid. "I dont know!" I shouted repeatedly. Kevin picked Nick up, threw him over his shoulder and ran for dear life to his jeep, I followed. On the way to the hospital, neither of us said a word. By the time we reached the hospital, Nick had come back into concioncness [sp???] about 5 times but was not concious when we sped out way into the Emergancy Room. Running up to the lady at the desk we ran into a few people, but none of them were hurt so we yelled "sorry" and kept going.

"How may I assist you?" the woman at the desk asked. "MY brother passed out, we don't know whats wrong." She looked up, above therims of her thick glasses. "Does he have any illnesses?" She asked. "uh...uh..uh..lemme think...uh..." I said. "DIABETES!" Kevin shouted. I gave him a weird look...Nick did NOT have diabetes. "Nicks not a diabetic." I said. "Yes he is...he didn't want to tell you because people would think its a huge disadvantage to him in life...when it isnt." I understood but this didnt look like a big great ADVANTAGE! The woman at the desk wrote dow the information and told us that a stretcher would be there, any minute to pick him up.
