It's "The Motorcycle Diaries" minus the soft-focus filters. Steven Soderbergh's Che Guevara bipoic clocks in at five hours. Nalini Sharma talks to the director, Benicio del Toro and Lou Diamond Philips at the premiere.
@ScarletSnake Yeah, like I said, I don't agree with what Che stood for but he had an undeniable effect on history.
Some people can't separate their political beliefs from, well, anything. That's why I refuse to talk politics with ANYONE. It creates too much tension and you lose friends faster than you will talking about religion.
Right, the problem is that you can't get the idiots to acknowledge the fact that important does not equal good or bad. That's why they'll always be used and ruled by wiser people, while those of us who can observe the scene from an objective point of view will be a step above them. Whenever I try to post a comment about Che's importance in history there'll always be a loser waiting to unleash an onslaught of angry private messages.
Note how they just say that Che was important. I've seen both movies and they didn't seem like they were glorifying Che Guevara. It was more like, "this is what supposedly happened". Take it or leave it at that.
And that isn't inaccurate, Che Guevara WAS important. You can't deny that. Important doesn't imply a positive or negative effect either way. I didn't agree with what he stood for but I won't go around and say that he didn't affect things.
I haven't see the Motorcycle Diaries...I 'm going to look for it, and watch it before I watch Che...to get some understanding of what happened...Benicio is a very talented actor I really enjoy watching his movies...See the slide-shows put to music by fans here on You tube....he is trully the SEXIEST MAN ALIVE!!...................

The results of Benicio's clean up woman. A poor, pathetic ugly, no-life fat broad with no green card and a hard on for bad actors.

I shit on Che, for being responsible of all this stupidity...
On the asshole Benicio del Toro, for praising a murderer pig...
On the ass face of Steven Soderbergh, the mediocre director of this filth lousy movie, for paying tribute to a madman...
On Lou Diamond Phillips, for talking too much shit, and for getting me dizzy and nauseous...
And especially, on this trashy and pathetic movie....
I am so glad, that this was a flop!!! jajajaja!!!
