Hey guys, Im up here in Maryland and they let us driftnet for a short spell every year. What really stinks is if I lived on the other side of the river in Virginia I could be gilnetting year round. The politicians have got it all screwed up. So we just go commando on them and keep smaller nets stashed. Commercial licenses are so scarce that you have to wait for someone to die before you can even apply and that one usually goes to a family member. Sucks. They won't let you earn a living.
