This is one of my favorite worship songs because it essentially asks God to meet me where I am in life, that I'm waiting for him to answer me, and in the process, I grow to become patient and strong. In the end I realize that God shows me what I'm looking for in his time, and not mine. Like a child not knowing why a parent makes them wait until the light turns green for them to cross the street, and not realizing until after the fact that it was in their best interest. So I tell Him that I am waiting and that I want Him to come and "meet with me", all the while being comforted by the fact that He will not let me down because He loves me and knows what's best for me and my life. My favorite version is done with guitar, so one of these days, I'm going to learn the chords, but for now, aca-pella will have to do.
