Film NOW AVAILABLE at:
http://slamdance.indieroad.net/blocks/Shorts%20Blocks/shorts-block-two/Details

For only $9 you can see 5 short films and part of the money goes back to the filmmakers so they can make more films! How cool is that. Plus, it is rare to get to see these short films unless you go to the festivals and pay anywhere from $10-$20 to see them in the theatres. So take advantage while you can.

This is my promo for 'A Little Mouth to Feed' by Jack Daniel Stanley and the folks at Wrightsville Beach Studios that made it in to Slamdance Film Festival 2009 in Park City Utah!

The Film Trailer on YouTube:

I made it for facebook originally and then it dawned on me I should post it here too...so pardon the reference!

Some of the film details:
SNYOPSIS: A devout country woman makes a deal with the Devil in hopes of having her own "little child to love". An oddly moving tale of Southern Gothic horror that proves a mother's love is thicker than blood ... lots of blood.

Written & directed by Jack Daniel Stanley, produced by Barry Green & David Jimerson, staring Michele Seidman, Doug Chancey & Patti Briscoe, scored by Herman Whitkam, shot by Macgregor.

  • Good Golly, Miss Molly! I just saw the flick. Yikes. All things being equal, I thought the lighting in this was superb. A side note... have any of you guys and girls ever seen David Lynch's "Eraserhead"? A think I got a little vibe of that here. I'm gonna have nightmares!

  • ha ha did we scare you a little? tee hee...i saw eraserhead years ago and hate to admit i barely remember it. the lighting should be superb...it was done by the guys who wrote the book on it..lol. and the camera work was incredible too. i admit taking great pride in being part of this one. they did a wonderful job all the way around! sis you buy one of the short blocks to see it? were you able to leave a comment there?

  • It's not the film that scares me, LOL.... you rock one L Michele !!! Good luck with all that you do in 2009, this will be a winner for you, along with some of the great songs I've heard lately. Still plan to come share a Vodka and Tonic when I can..... Love Ya , Bill H. aka blueshound among many alias.

  • wait? were you using blueshound when i did that radio interview? you do know there is a woman who uses it and a band. too funny. well Bill...i am sure we will sit down for a drink again one day soon!

  • Hey Michele, Yeah, that was me.. thought you knew that LOL.... No, I didn't realize it was used by others, but not surprised. Are you going to the Springin the Blues in Jacksonville this April ?

  • probably not going. wish i was. still digging out from medical bills. and no clue it was you because the band and woman are both on myspace and i figured it was one of them...lol

  • yup...and now it can be screened on line. i just added the link on the detail box here. it was horror with a hint of comedy and we got to screen at Slamdance Film Festival in front of a really cool feature film called "I Sell the Dead". it was so well done and also horror with humor. I think that is why that was our placement. it seemed a really good fit.

  • Slamdance Film Festival was a blast Eric...just wait until you see me follow up video diary!

  • I just gave you another 5 star rating on this (if YT will allow). I think this is really good. Just my two cents. Thanks for sharing.

    Eric

  • eric thank you. we leave this week and our first screening is friday night...omg it is so close now!
