  • First off, thanks for sharing the video. My question, was there any of the people you researched that were eye witnesses to Jesus death or are they all heresay?

  • Yes. The first eye witnesses are included in the New Testiment Bible as The gospel of John and the gospel of Matthew.

Second eye witneses are Mark and Luke

  • I asked if you researched re eye witnesses! The bible is not in my opinion(and the vast majority of skeptics)researching anything! Consider researching back to the Greco Roman times! You will see that in fact the desciples were NOT eye witnesses at all!

  • i have researched . If you read ballanced historical writtings, not biased ones that state opinion rather than historical fact. Its never historians that doubt the vality of the gospel writers, no more than they would doubt the writers of the roman historities or Alexander the Great.

Read "The Case for Christ". It has referances, footnotes and historical records. not opinion.

  • Josephus late first century = blatant christian interpolations Tacitus = very questionable calls pilot a procurator which is wrong he was a prefect. indicating another possible christian interpolation Pliny = only mentions christians existed in the second century doesnt mention anything about jesus ever! Seutonius = mentions chrestus not christus big difference. IF hes talking about JEsus then that puts jesus in rome around 49 CE which is not possible as he was DEAD

  • How come there isn't heaps, and I mean HEAPS of references to a man who supposedly could perform so many miracles? Not convincing to me.

  • @Imanfgclone I am an atheist and I am searching for evidence of god

  • @RenewableFuel Because finding "HEAPS" of information as you put it, is impossible for any one who lived 2000 years ago, including well-known Roman Emperors! We have to put up with scraps of information patiently put together from partial documents, archaeology, etc.

Which makes the available record on Jesus all the more remarkable! Why would an obscure carpenter from Nazareth merit so much non-Christian historical reference, above even major historical figures?

  • . becasue he wasnt a roman citizen he was from a back province of the roman empire the romans cared little about & he was crucified as a criminal. Why would they write about him. The ones who BELIEVED in him DID write about him, The ones who saw him DID. but why would roman historians, the amazing thing is that he IS mentioned by Tacitus & Pliny - good grief look at the influence he has had on history. You think an imaginary fellow could divide history into BC and AD- I dont think so!

  • @boazandjiacinth Because no man dies for a lie, and since the eyewitness to Jesus were so overwhleming, the decent fact that Jesus did miracles, rebuked demons, healed the sick, and importantly crucified and raised from the dead which there is historical evidence and proof that scholars and non scholars alike both agree on. Those people were true followers of the Holy God of Isreal. I would do the same if i ment JEsus christ the son of God.

  • unfortunately no matter how much evidence you can produce the evil man will still not believe. He wants to be one with sin, and not be told it is wrong, not even by God. So, they will never believe, they are lost, useless skin, a waste of air.

  • @99minerkc 1st: All the apostles were eye witnesses of the life of Jesus-that is a key qualifier to being an apostle. 2nd: There are non-biblical evidences from letters written by Pontius Pilate to the emperor and to Herod about events occuring in his region. As his focus is primarily on an aqueduct project in the region, he wrote of Jesus who had cause no small stir among the Jews-who were a grievance to him, and as such gave him some amusement to his existence.

  • it is an interesting FACT that there exists 10 time more evidence, not scriptual based, to prove Christ lived than the evidence that alexander the great lived. I believe they both lived. Why did the first Christians openly follow his teachings knowing full well that it almost certainly meant a cruel and violent death..would you follow something with that threat if you had any doubts about the validity.. no, and neither would i. People didnt live in a tolerant society then, unlike ours now..

  • AWESOME VIDEO :)
