The truth abaout massigno is this the original evolution line in red blue yellow was baby kangaskong ( pokemon in kangaskongs poutch) maroak then kangaskong then they decided to replace baby kangaskong with cubone and make kangaskong his own pokemon...... BUT the creators didnt COMPLETLY erase the data of the baby kangaskong SOOOO the left over baby kangaskong data formed itself into massigno the glitch.

MissingNO is basically a placeholder for a Pokemon when data cannot be brought up during the game. Simple as that. When events in red and blue started to take place, missingNO began to appear due to glitches in data during a battle.

Missingno is a glitch pokemon originally from blue and red versions and when transferred to yellow it has a given description. It is the strongest pokemon but with weak hp so if it is the slower pokemon it is a one shot kill.

MISSINGNO is probably mew because mew was supposed to be Pokedex Entry No 151 or. MISSINGNO is a evoulotion split for kangasan it was supposed to evolve from marowak but they removed some data but not all of it and thats (Some theories) of how missingno was created

@Missinglitch I guess that Missingno is one of the bugs that the developer's forgot about. The glitch was revealed in one of the issues of Nintendo Power, and they said NOT TO DO IT, as could corrupt the game, but all it does, in some versions, have glitches EVERYWHERE, some versions have have as an unknown Pokemon, as the DS ones are basically That's right. No name. with a circle with a ? as the picture. Sometimes in the GB versions, he's a backwards L!!!!! (I think)

missingno is a pokemon that the creators did not take all the data out of and forgot some so he was still there and they did not know so when you find him this might help you knowing who he is!
