Please read all of this!

For all of you who care more about the song, it's called Ex-State of mind. It is a Commodore 64 SID chiptune. I converted it to an mp3 and put it in this video. I think the HVSC will have an MP3 of it.
I hold no responsibility if you break your calculator. Also, some calculators will not work with this hack because they have a built-in polarizing film on the screen or no polarizing film at all.

Also: Realize this is three years old, and done on tech that was pretty outdated for that time. And I was pretty terrible at making videos, although you probably figured that out by looking at the amazing Windows Movie Maker titles.

  • this isn't hacking anything all this is is messing with the polarization film

  • @scl8114515 Still technically a hack. Not all hacks are done sitting there with soldering irons and digging through lines of code.

  • what does it do ? when you hack it i mean.

  • The screen is inverted which means (for you people who don't know what inverted means) the colors are swapped (Black is white ect.)

  • you know you dont have to open the hole thing?

you can get something and poke it out

  • Yes, but then you risk punching a hole in the filter, scratching it, ect.
