This is a short video originally shot with an 8mm camera in 1976 showing the processing of 100 buffalo that were bought in Gillette, Wyoming. The buffalo were sorted, their ears were tagged, they were branded with the Lazy M brand , inoculated for brucellosis and loaded onto two semi-trailer trucks and shipped to Stockton, Utah.

  • Very interesting vid. Let me guess, the "M" in LazyMBrand is for "McFarland"? While the music, sound-effects, and rolling titles appear to have "Were" influences/contributions? Nevertheless very nice and informational. Thanx for editing and uploading.

  • @kanestillman

The 'M' is for McFarland, it can also stand for,' mismanagement' which seems to be the word of the day when it comes to taking care of business for the McFarlands.

  • This is Warren "Buffalo" Buffet, I am strongly interested in buying 4,000,000 Buffs and accesories, and putting the whole herd on my friend Ted Turners feed lot for future use and profits. Buff jerky goes well with red licorice and 10-30 oil. Please get hold of my secretary, Annie Oakley, @ 1-800-CAN-MEAT. Head em up, move em out, rawhide........P.S., Ted serves up Buff meat at his places as well.................
