THIS VIDEO IS POSTED BECAUSE LUCA LIKES TO WATCH HIMSELF ON VIDEO. THIS WAY HE CAN SEE IT FROM ANYWHERE WE GO AND HELPS WITH HIS MELTDOWNS. HE LOVES THIS VIDEO btw.

AND THE FACT THAT I DID POST ALL THESE MEANS THAT I WILL DO WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE HIM HAPPY AND COMFORTABLE.

everybody has to judge ...Luca is the first in this area to have Autism with a sense of humor. I'm proud of this video...my kid didn't panic :)

@juiciijai u r right lol I'm a 37yo Asperger mother with an Asperger teenager and an autistic son. My 70yo father has autism but we can't afford ins so will u pay of our psychiatric attending? Hahahaha peace

Autistic children need a lot of patience, you can't say "are you going to Stop spitting? " it needs to be more direct. He was also getting stressed out about his head being stuck, as soon as you got him out he had stopped. They also feel irritated by bodily contact and don't like hugs, that's why he was wriggling and squirming.

My god how horrible. Laughing because his head was stuck? You can tell how distressed he was & you were laughing at him. How about re-directing him immediately when he spits? How about being educated, patient & kind? I have an autistic son. I learned ABA to work with him & he is my life. This video is just upsetting on so many levels..........

@joleenlove OMG my son stopped spitting 3 months ago but I still have milk stains all over my walls lol! These kids are so funny sometimes thanks for sharing these videos do help others even if some parents don't agree thanks!

some of these comments are coming from ignorant people...my 3 yr old was diagnosed with autism over a year ago and he has the same behavior with spitting and sometimes when they do soething like that you have to find the humor in it to keep sain throughout the day..having a child on the spectrum is very hard at times and what ever you need to do to get through the day wether it is making a video of your child to make them happy or if it is laughing at something no one elese gets so be it...

I think it is great that you found a way to help him calm down wherever you are by making this video accessible- if that is something that helps him cope when he is stressed, then putting it on youtube was a great idea. Glad to hear he has stopped the spitting. :)

@MrSoldierperson Wow you made a diagnosis from a 2 minute long video? It takes most specialists months if not years to diagnose a child as autistic or not, you could be making millions if you can do it that fast!

PS - Watch the childs repetive flapping arm movements. Do you even know anything about autism? :-/
