@Wakaboo14 The problem with playing with this set of rules in a game like this is that the tactical component of the game is destroyed. Here you have 100% knowledge on enemies positions, therefore, you have always have the upper hand, no matter the quantity of the enemy.

On the other hand, in JA2, getting into a place (1.13 patch) without a scout or without binocs/scopes is just plain suicide. They will spot you first.

This system has destroyed the JA name.

Plus, there are no mod tools, >:(

Jagged Alliance: Back in Action is just a hashed out PoS game. There is no quality here and it insults the original game and its developers (Sir-Tech). The developers simply took a great old game and rushed out a crap imitation hoping to rake in some $ by using the good name of Jagged Alliance. Sir-Tech we miss you.

The game is extremely mediocre. There's tons of things they should have done differently/better. No destructible terrain/houses, no breaching mode, extremely stupid AI, clunky interface, useless militia, no vehicles to cross longer distances, no meaningful economy, etc...

@nozzer2002 nope. its like baldurs gate.. real time with pause on spacebar. its nice but its NOT jagged alliance..and still ALPHA feel..

The names, intro etc etc, everything seemed the same as JA2, I was so damn happy!

Then I see the map... ok this looks rubbish, then I see the recruitment screen, merc pictures, sound bites... They somehow achieved in making the games interface look and sound amazingly worse then the 12 years old JA2. Ah well I thought, lets start playing, this is gonna be amazing! ..... Holy shit. This game has nothing to do with JA2. I hope at least 3 of the devs have hanged themselves out of shame.
