@Mizzles240 couldn't agree more,I felt exactly the same way when I moved to the U.S,and even though I go to a great art school you can still find lots of those spoiled people in there too, miss how everyone without any exception was so much into music just because it is their passion and they don't wanna do anything else,we need less ignorance now in days

the amount of passion that kids have for classical music when growing up in south american is just magnificent. you can see everyone from el systema is just dying to play their instrument. I feel like thats such a rarity in america these days. Every place i go with some focus towards music, all I see is a bunch of spoiled lazy kids who want to play video games and eat mcdonalds. This is what music is about. doing what you love because you dont want anything else.

@Nietzschetron Go to Venezuela, and join an orchestra. Its free, and its world class, plus you'll learn to speak Spanish.

Top Dudamel, a truly magnificent performance, and powerful orchestra, the fourth movement of the Tchaikovsky Fifth Symphony is one of my favorites, congratulations!
This orchestra is so amazing because each member shows the enthusiasm of Dudamel. I have never seen an orchestra so responsive to the conductor and the music.

Bravo Maestro Dudamel! Bravo Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela! Wonderful! For a classic performance of this symphony one might seek out the Mravinsky with the Leningrad Philharmonic. It appeared in the west in many incarnations and still holds its place but this is a heartfelt rendition and well worth listening to.
