  • ROHS can sure suck! Political BS!!

  • My 2 cents... bad video RAM solder connection on the processor board. Warms up you get sections of memory that work.

Thank you Mr brittle enviro-friendly lead free solder that cracks; kills Xbox360's and PS3's on contact too.

Landfill is probably analyzing your TV problem in greater detail right now.

    Sorry about the expensive loss.

  • Time for a NEW plasma HDTV. srry

  • TO Anyone with similar problems:::HEAT Expand solid elements and cold shrinks them..On power-up components are cold(meaning room temperature)....if your unit has a hairline crack on any PCB(((BOARDS within TV for amateurs))),,if cables are loose or frayed somehow,,if there are factory defects within components etc etc-YOU WILL see weird faults such as this..As the units warms up and everything gets a little bigger those microscopic faults get corrected AUTOMAGICALLY..You choose whom to thank4 it

  • zenith plasma doing same

  • i had 2 hd tv breaken 1 would not turn on 2 2 white line on the left on the screen im on my 3 tv i think it over heats i would not have on ever day 24 hrs a day

  • i Have the same problem with my samsung tv

  • @herjabram LCD and LEDs sell because of their range in size, thinness, brightness and sharpness. Their are some really good LED or even LCD that can get those deep flowing colors that pop like plasma... and no glare to top it off. LCD/LED is more of a piece of mind investment than that joke of an invention plasma.

  • @QUIKKSTAR Plasma is far superior to LCD and LED (try google), just because one person's plasma breaks down doesn't mean you have to avoid them. As if an LCD never broke down.

@poster; go back to the store with your TV or to a repairman

  • these are the people who sell LCD

to give bad publicity to panasonic ha ha ha
