Turkey 's Challenges
Turkey has undertaken reforms internally to create stability and encourage economic growth. Yet, Turkey must also contend with the competing external influences of the EU, Russia, the Middle East and even China.

How should Turkey craft its foreign policy in light of competing interests?

  • Nice presentation and discussion about Turkey which brings hopes for the future in its region with its uprising and dominance. Hello to Cyprus problem and Armenian genocide obssessed guys... We are open to discuss what happened in these issues in the past. I think we need to check the pages of history again and face with the truth of Turkish Republic as well as Ottoman Empire which were tolerant other ethnic societies in its borders. Plz keep in touch always...

  • You say "Barberic" Ottomans, right? I don't claim Ottoman was the best. But if you have right to call Ottoman Empire(1299-1922) barberic, then you should research European Western Values(!) in Africa, in South America, in NATIVE America((My latino friends don't say good things about Europeans, frankly)). But although that I believe that I don't have right to criticise today's neither European countries nor Europen nations... C'MON! GUYS! LET'S GIVE UP FUNDAMENTALIST IDEAS!

  • turkey should not join the EU because it was not bulit based on European western values. but based on barberic ottomans not too long a go.

  • let hope that turkey become really big so that they can help our muslim brothers.

  • How can they applause both Tayyip and Peres? One should have a backbone.

People can't tolerate hearing the truth of how they didn't move a limb to stop the children murderers.

  • you are wrong all problems can be solved in the parliament, because they are chosen by public, they are the voice of public

  • Turkey's got a lot of problems that will never be straightened out with the people in charge in the parliament.
