U really don't need anything except entertainment, and going home clothes (plus a few onesie's for her) I brought a Robe and Slippers to walk the hall in b4/after L&D. I forgot my bags at the house so we didn't have anything, I wore the same clothes home that I wore into the hospital. I had my parents run to our home to get our boppy pillow, didn't know I was going to BF. Any stretchmarks anywhere?

Ok great-glad you said that! So I can take some of these clothes out the bag LoL. I DO plan on bringing my laptop with me to the hospital. I have a lot of discoloration ALMOST EVERYWHERE and I hope it goes away. I have stretching around my belly button but its like clear (I do not know if that makes sense)but you can only see it if you are looking at it REAL close in good light) Kinda weird. I have to make sure I remember a regular pillow b/c hospital said they only have little ones AND my boppy

I wore their undies, pads, and all that stuff. Oh and a really good idea someone gave to me that was REALLY useful, run to ur favorite DELIVERY places, and pick up a menu and put that in ur bag. I had pizza hut, jason's deli, and a little variety so they could deliver to my hospital room :) I also brought my blow dryer, make-up and so forth to "feel better" about my self once I got to shower. U can have clear stretchmarks. I have some that I got during puberty on my butt & skin colored.

I repacked my whole bag and it went from 2 bags down to one LoL .. Thanx for the advice on what to put in it. I'm soooooo happy you shared that with me!! Thanx again :)

lol yah you can cut out a bunch of that stuff. Plus it's easy to remember to grab one bag vs two! Hell I had a hard enough time trying to remember to grab ONE bag, lmao

U know u can get stretch marks POST-BABY right? So if ur using lotion, KEEP USING IT! U can shrink too fast, and that will cause stretch marks. I got a few postpartum on my butt. Yah I know my butt and stretch marks go hand n hand. :( It sucks. I wish I could have 1/2 of what I got back there up front ha

Bring onesies for the first day that you do not mind getting ruined/stained. The ink that they put on the umbilical cord to dry it up will stain the onesies... And if you breastfed *not sure about bottle/formula fed* they spit up a BUNCH, so bring a few changes. I stayed in the robe they offered since I breast fed I was constantly naked up top no point in putting on anything else. They nurse so often like every 45 minutes it seemed like the first few days until the milk is in.
