  • dumbass southerner

  • Jesus H. Christ, how f'n delusional could Fred Barnes possibly be to predict a McCain victory when ALL national polls showed Obama to be leading by between 7 and 12 points for weeks? You suck at your job, Barnes - you should retire right along with McCain. Oh yeah, you bitter twat, figures that you'd be against early voting - the less people that make it to the polls the better for the GOP, right? God, you are such a sorry ass human being.

  • Fred Barnes needs to stop predicting the future. He lacks insight and a capacity for critical rational thinking.

  • Fred Barnes has undergone a rather sad long downward slide since he founded the Weekly Standard.

As seen here, he's chosen to be more loyal to his "team" than to the obvious truth.

His choice may be due to economic self-interest.

When he established his reputation at the New Republic, he was rewarded for contrary opinions.

At Fox and the Weekly Standard he knows he would be punished if he voiced a contrary opinion.

Or perhaps he believes what he's saying. Which would be sadder?
