Here's definitely a tape designed to get everyone's feet tapping and dancing - his tape replaced Macchu Picchu and The Green Leaves Of Summer all in one and lasted from October 1981 until its demise in January 1985.

  • @ricadus The titles for the subsequent tracks to this tape are Lover's Promenade and Montmarte By Night. Both are by the Savoy Orchestra.

  • Very nice, love the knackbass (clicking guitar) as pioneered by Ladi Geisler of the Bert Kaempfert Orchestra

  • I have the second tune on a tape recording along with several others from the same sequence. From the arrangement and particular sound I thought this one might be by John Fox & Orchestra but would be interested to know of the actual titles etc.

  • Great especially the first tune. Remember these well when setting up the convergence on colour tvs like the old Decca Bradfords and Philips G8s etc.
