  • He also forgot you need to let the water drain out of the orchids otherwise yu risk root rot. And you need to use weak fertilizer every 2 weeks or so. Trim off dead ends, and mist the orchid, water when needed.

    He also needs to soak the bark 24 hours,

    Don't center the plant, stick the oldest growth to the side.

    Use some kind of no degradable things on the bottom for drainage, not bark

    As you can see, this is no expert on orchids

  • i agreed with missam208 you need to cutt off some of the dead roots.

  • you need to remove all the old potting material and cutt off the dead roots as well,
