Takahashi's brilliant! He's probably getting the highest degree of execution that boosts the technical aspects, the quality of his skating is one of the best in the world. Only he can make it seem as if the technical elements are part of the artistry.

For him, it's not about the score, he mentioned that he is focused on having fun and performing for the audience.

Best damn skating I've seen in years! Better than all the men, women and pairs combined! This guy is beyond amazing - how does he float into the jumps like that! Even the way he combined the songs from "in the Garden of Souls" is impressive considering it is actually Indian & Persian music yet he makes it sound Japanese! Love the hand position & his use of his entire body. Unlike others with their quads Takahashi actually performs! Love love love love loved it!

I'm sorry, but 90+ points for this program? Then who's scores are more inflated, his or Chan's? Not even Lambiel at the peak of his game, doing 4T3T, 3A, 3F ever achieved this scored. The 3Toe on the Flip looked underrotated. His first 2 spins traveled and he scores this high? No offense intended, but does it have anuything to see with him been a Japanese competing in Japan?
