  • Takahashi's brilliant! He's probably getting the highest degree of execution that boosts the technical aspects, the quality of his skating is one of the best in the world. Only he can make it seem as if the technical elements are part of the artistry.

For him, it's not about the score, he mentioned that he is focused on having fun and performing for the audience.

  • I agree! It actually gets BETTER the more you watch it - so much to see and feel in this program! It takes my breath away!

By far Dai's most sophisticated work of art to date! I hope he brings us more - along with his lovely smiles!

  • OK, it's been more than a month, and I'm still repeating this video clip daily. This is beyond figure skating. This is a work of art. Best of luck at the Japanese Nationals! Go Daisuke!!

  • Dynamic and mesmerizing performance.....brilliant is accurate!!

  • Best damn skating I've seen in years! Better than all the men, women and pairs combined! This guy is beyond amazing - how does he float into the jumps like that! Even the way he combined the songs from "in the Garden of Souls" is impressive considering it is actually Indian & Persian music yet he makes it sound Japanese! Love the hand position & his use of his entire body. Unlike others with their quads Takahashi actually performs! Love love love love loved it!

  • i really like how integrated hist steps are with his jumps especially after the triple axel

  • This program is a masterpiece, and he performed it spectacularly! It gave me chills!!!

  • @EEDiazL chan's...come-on...this was an amazing program...how can you not think so?
