This is the story of how Princess Carmensita of Vaishali India, true founder of the Earth's first Republic circa 600 b.c., was closed out of her city by her former husband and his new wife, represented by Kali. Carmencita plants the first seeds of Democracy, and it would take over 2000 years for a bountiful harvest. Kali and the King take credit for Carmencita's work, and begin a path of corruption disguised as good. The movie "Devdas" is also an analogy of this story of betrayal.
