David Hobbs cracks me up sometimes when he talks about Schuey as a lad. Sometimes, in order to pull his legs, Hobbs calls the guy "Skumacher" instead of Schumacher or acts like he doesn't know the guy and says stuff like "yeah, some young lad did that, what is his name, Schumacher?" God bless that Scotish bloke. Hope he keeps announcing F1 and Le Mans as he's still kicking. Really funny man.

@ratzinator1 Well I'm hoping Speed still has the TV rights to show the 24 Hours of Le Mans since they've lost all American Le Mans Series tv rights to ESPN2/ESPN3/ABC.

probably because Speed expects more money due to the idea that it's a really good quality channel. I noticed the coverage on CBS is like shit and I don't know about ESPN they probably are coming back as a good tv station for racing. probably settled for less money to host the show. whatever happens. if Hobbs can commentate and still wants to do it, let him commentate at Le Mans and for F1 because he really knows his stuff and knows how to entertain us racing fans.

I would doubt they will change that. Well, I believe the French are more appreciative of Speed. Hell, Radio Le Mans covered the race on Speed for several years showing pictures from their world feed to Speed. Speed channel is the only one who would be willing to show the race in its interioty. They lose those rights, Le Mans coverage will lose its uniqueness, which basically make it no better than the Rolex 24, and Le mans is 10 times better than the Rolex.
