Fire Quincy Ave Vid 2 Scranton Fire Dept

I was Acting Capt on Truck 2 for this late night fire. The video taken by my 20 yr. old daughter. Listen closely and you'll hear her ask her friend "why don't they put the bucket up" and immediately following, you'll hear me ask over the radio to the Chief "do you want the tower up?" We had to wait for the utility to cut power before we were able to put up the tower, dept. policy.

they dont put the fuckin bucket up because the power lines are charged! man that makes me so mad i could punch a damn baby! didnt we just fucking learn from that? are you kidding me! anyway stay safe brothers!and remember dont put that bucket up if those power lines are still powered up!

Not sure what you're talking about with your comment, I was inside and was (asking the chief) checking the status on the power co. I wasn't asking to put the bucket up with the lines energized.

I live right in Scranton, not a couple miles from here! :( That was a tragic fire.
