  • @scott9431 What a fucking idiot.

  • @TheMikeyReilly Back to the original point, the IRA songs shouldn't be sung because they are offensive to others, including the country which Celtic belongs to, this is the same reason sectarian songs can't be sung.

But my point was, if the majority of people in N Ireland want to be part of the UK, what's the point in the IRA fighting it?

  • @scott9431 It's interesting that irish nationalism really never flared up again until the late 60s when Catholics were being seriously discriminated against, and loyalists and the police were attacking Catholic neighbourhoods.

So, in truth, the loyalists brought it upon themselves.

  • @TheMikeyReilly I personally would be all for N Irish independance from the UK if the majority wanted it, but clearly they do not, so what is the point in the IRA fighting for it?

  • @TheMikeyReilly No, it's not sectarian, it's just offensive, and therefore still disgraceful. You have pretended that my arguments are lies in order to avoid them

And you're pathetically continuing this argument. I now resign from the argument, I will respond to anything you now post, but whatever happens with this argument now is your responsibility, and it's you that'll be the pathetic one.

  • @TheMikeyReilly Targeting Brits now isn't justified by what happened decades ago, which were atrocities. In those days, we also beat up hippies and had the death penalty.

African American rights got alot furthur with peaceful protest than violence. So would Irish "freedom". Why not do what we do here in Scotland? Elect a nationalist party! Then N Ireland could become part of greater Ireland without any violence? I'll tell you why, because clearly the majority want to stay in the UK!

  • @scott9431 It's a shame you've turned a blind eye to the brutality and disgusting antics of the British Army.

Here is your beloved armed forces massacring irish, Iraqi and Afghan civilains, and the less said about what they did in the past the better for you, and you have a cheek to complain about us singing about those who are trying to free their land. You are screwed up in the head.

Oh no wait, you're just a Hun. (which isn't sectarian, no matter how you'll try to twist it up).

  • @scott9431 1) Utter lies

    2) As long as the Brits are in Ireland, they are legitimate targets.

    3) Cause you're completely clueless and have got no idea what you're talking about. It's quite clear from the crap about "terrorism" and shit, you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @TheMikeyReilly And I hope that one day, when you witness an IRA attack and you see the innocent people being taken away in stretchers or worse, I hope you'll change your mind.

And you never answered my last point either. If you want to keep this argument going, I'll be more than happy to help tomorrow.

  • @TheMikeyReilly OK, I have better things to do with my Friday night than sit here and argue with you on a subject neither of us are going to win, theres no convincing you and theres no convincing me.

    1) Celtic have a cheek to talk about Rangers singing, they are just as bad.

    2) Despite being a British club, most of their fans support a organisation that wants to kill Brits.

    3) I think you're a dispicable, disgusting person, my hatred for your point of view cannot even be described.
