Listening again, and I am struck how Cynthia sings this as a seduction..do you see/hear what I mean? Interesting, it makes it more insidious, darker. I like John Lennon's version, but it is more of a complaint, a bage of suffering, a warning. This version is for me like the devil serenading you into a seductive trap.

This is the only cover song the Bush Tetras performed in this set which is 99% their own fantastic original hits. I was surprised how I overlooked this and am just now getting into it. I think Cynthia does a credible justice to the song and it was an interesting choice for them to do. I chose posting this clip because it had a good shot of Laura Kennedy who usually stays in the shadows, of which there were plenty on the typical Hurrah stage.
