Hi, my name is Operational 117.

Finally, I have released my fifth HD gameplay video of The Sims 3! Sorry if the interface looks alot smaller than in the other videos, but I have gotten myself a TV, and it is capable of Full HD (1080p, or 1920x1080). The problem is, I can't play the game on 1280x720, the best I can make it is 1280x768, which is an aspect ratio of 5:3, and I decided to try 1920x1080, which is 16:9, like 1280x720. But the quality got degraded because of that... :\

Anyways, in this video, I play as Jamie Joline, a rather cute and really clever girl. But when I started, I saw that she was "missing" work, and her work prestige dropped.

Feel free to subscribe. Also leave a comment, but don't include bad language! Remember: this video is supposed to be viewable by young children. So please, keep it clean.

  • hey, what are your PC specs? great videos btw :)

  • @Maxx1371 When making this, it was: Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.66GHz (Quad-core) 4 GB RAM (3.25 GB useful) nVidia GeForce GTX 260 (upgraded to 460 later) 500GB HDD Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) Now, though: Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.02 GHz (Quad-core) 24 GB RAM!! nVidia GeForce GTX 580! 2x1 TB HDDs Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)! New PC was built by me (with a bit of help from my uncle). Also, the cabinet has a window on its side... no lights, though... The other one, I gave to my little brother.
  • dude you are so lucky i cant even play sims 3 on my computer

  • @ultimatepuppetmaster What gives?

If you run it on Windows 2000 or earlier (or Windows 7 without an expansion pack), you may run into compatibility issues. Either buy an expansion pack (if you have 7) or upgrade your OS (if you have 2000).

If you have Windows Vista or 7, the game will demand more from your computer. In the end, though, it all comes down to your computer specs (unless you run an ancient OS like 98!), so if you could describe that, I may be able to help.

  • that guy was totally speeding at 1:00 call the sims 3 police!!!

  • @illinois011 The whole game (when it comes to both laws of government and physics) is totally unrealistic, indeed.

At this speed, the person wouldn't just get a speed ticket, they'd also lose their driver's license and risk months of imprisonment! Also, note how he takes that curve. At that speed (looks like about 200 km\h), taking that short time (about 1/8 of a second), he'd experience about 1,262 Gs! Weight is multiplied by Gs! So a person at 90 kg would feel like he's 113 tons!
