im getting mine taken out tomorrow, is it painfull in anyway or just total relief?
-
@sidereally its been almost two months now for me...i had to wait 14 days before my splints came out because of my narrow nose...but just the cleaning after the first week made a difference, and then the moment the splints came out it was 100% better...its gotten even better over the past weeks...but im still getting a lot of boogers

@beaublol i'm only on day three of my recovery, but i can tell you based on what my doctor said, you're going to notice a difference when they come out, but it'll congest right up again. three weeks after your surgery all the swelling will go back down and you will be able to breathe again.

@odarbo Well i guess ima go see a nose and ear dr. then on my next check ill get the Surgery thanks for the help and info .

@doriantaylor66 Oh no man, the removal felt great actually. This is kinda gross but, if you've ever picked your nose and pulled out a really big booger and you feelt it slide from way back inside your nose? It feels a lot like that. Its a relief more than anything. Followed by an amazing rush of air into parts of my nose that had never felt the breeze before. It's kind of a rush. Probably one of the best parts of the surgery.

the doctor pulled it too much ...what if after he pulled 1 of the nasal splint .. his nose bubbled up lol

@odarbo what about the removal does it hurt like hell
It's not a disease, more like symptoms of stufiness and constant obstruction.

NO pain at all and def. no uncomfortableness! In fact, quite the opposite! I can breath, snore less, taste food, it's like night and day. With the advances in technology nowadays, anybody who's in need of this procedure and is not getting it for whatever reason, is a fool!

You first would have to see your Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist and have his or her match your diagnosis with the appropriate procedure. You might need a referral if you have an HMO.

And yes I want that booger vacum myself! Is like blowing your nose, without the effort! Winning!

Having had the procedure done DOES affect your sense of smell. The most amazing aspect of it, has actually been my sense of TASTE! I can actually taste food now! Before I used to have to put tons of salt on my food to even be able to taste it. Now, I can truly and really appreciate the actual taste of food and most importantly wines!!
